Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel
If you’re planning on visiting Yellowstone National Park or are looking for a fun Glamping experience, I highly recommend staying at the Dreamcater Tipi Hotel.
It’s the perfect location to unplug and experience nature, as you’ll get to see the stars at night and be forced to get away from your phone as you’ll have no signal (at least my experience with AT&T).
The Tipi
What a comfortable stay!
My family and I slept in the King Tipi that came with a King Bed and two Twin beds. In total, this room could comfortable fit 4 people.
The bedding was extremely soft, the different blanket layers were perfect since it was still cold (currently end of May with some snow left on the mountains). The room had 2 floor heaters, towels, portable lamps, and enough plugs for my mom, aunt, and I to all charge our devices.
Complimentary water bottles came with the room as well which were great souvenirs.
Each Tipi had their own private fireplace and seating area which was a perfect place to end the night.
I didn’t capture an image of the shower area, but the shared bathrooms were very clean. I noticed during shower time, there was a staff member constantly cleaning the bathrooms for upkeep.
Communal Areas
In the middle of the campgrounds is the Community Area. In the evening from 8pm-10pm they served free drinks (beer, wine) and s’mores by the fire.
For entertainment they have the corn hole game, an area to play catch, a telescope to view the mountains, and a handful of chairs spread around. By the breakfast area, they also provided board games.
Other than the complimentary breakfast, they don’t sell/provide food or drinks but there is a grocery store about 5 minute drive away if needed.
Breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruits, bars, oatmeal, instant noodles, coffee and tea.
Surrounding Area
If you’re looking for something to do close by to the Glamping site, check out Yellowstone Hot Spring to soak in some Natural Mineral Water. The main pool is warm with a few jets along the sides, and a cold plunge which was great to go back and forth from.
Towels are available for rent or you can bring your own.
Overall, I had a great stay at the Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel and would highly recommend to anyone passing through the area. The staff was warm and friendly, and I would definitely go back if I’m in the area.
It is a bit remote, so I can only image coming here if you’re visiting Yellowstone National Park or heading to/from Jackson Hole / Grand Tetons National Park area (which was my case), and is about 5 1/2 - 6 hours away.
If you end up going, enjoy your stay!
