Hyatt Centric, Kanazawa

Less than 3 hour train ride from Tokyo, Kanazawa is a city that should be on more travel itineraries. You’ll discover beautiful gardens, unique museums, and absolutely delicious seafood.

Hyatt Centric Kanazawa was the main reason for putting Kanazawa on the travel plans, and probably the reason I’d return. Just like my stay at Hyatt Centric Ginza experience in Tokyo, I love the artistic interiors and the vibrant colors & designs Hyatt Centric has throughout the hotel. 

The Room

Hotel Perks & Amenities

The lobby has comfortable waiting areas, a lounge/dining area that overlooks the station, and a rooftop bar on the 14th floor. The Gym is located below the lobby. Standard equipment with some cardio stations, has what you need - except windows.

Hyatt House is located just behind, where Globalist have access to coffee and soft drinks throughout the day. The interior at Hyatt House was super cozy. If I were staying longer and wanted more working areas, I’d consider staying on that side. 

Location

The Hotel is located right outside Kanazawa Station, so you have extremely convenient access to restaurants, a grocery store, shopping malls, the bus station, and taxi stands.

Location is also quite close to activities like visiting Kanazawa Castle, Omicho Market, the Higashi Chaya District, and Nagamachi District.
