Hyatt Centric, Ginza Tokyo

If you’re looking for a hotel that has a tasteful modern interior, comfortable lounging areas, and a vibe that captures the vibrant spirit of Tokyo, Hyatt Centric Ginza should be on your list of places to stay!

Located in the heart of Tokyo, The Hyatt Centric Hotel is nestled in the bustling district of Ginza, Japan's premier shopping and entertainment destination.

I spent the first 3 days of my 2 week trip in Tokyo, and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable way to acclimate to the city. 

The Room

The room was gorgeous!

I was already excited by the pictures I saw online, but once I entered the room I was captured by everything - the lighting, the decorated red panels on the far wall - the room seamlessly blends Japanese aesthetics with contemporary design, creating a tranquil sanctuary in the heart of the city. We selected the 2 Twin Bed Room as that was one of the only ones left. The room was very comfortable for my S.O. and I, and I appreciated the separation of the bath from the shower.

Hotel Perks & Amenities

The hotel had the essential property amenities that I look for with a touch of luxe.

• Inviting lounge areas

• Large working table

• Spacious and well equipped Gym

They also offer complimentary drinks and snacks at the minibar from 17:00-22:00 called Centric Hour. It was a nice way for me to try some local Japanese snacks and juices. If you see a green and yellow bag of corn puff balls + seaweed with a frog on it, give it a try!

Location

The Hyatt Centric was a convenient 3 minute walk to Ginza Station, and is surrounded by high-end boutiques, department stores, and chic restaurants & cafes.

Overall, it was a beautiful stay, and wouldn’t mind at all staying there again.
